Instructions for unsubscribing from the list, subscribing to the list, and posting to the list follow below. All commands (such as unsubscribe or subscribe) must be sent to the "LISTSERV address", LISTSERV@LISTS.NAU.EDU.
Sending E-mail Messages to The List
To send a message to all the people currently subscribed to the list, just
send your email message to AZPA-L@LISTS.NAU.EDU.
This is called
"sending mail to the list", because you send mail to a single address
and LISTSERV makes copies for all the people who have subscribed. This
address (azpa-l@LISTS.NAU.EDU) is also called the "list address".
If you wish to unsubscribe from this mailing list, please send email to: LISTSERV@LISTS.NAU.EDU
with a single line of text in the body of the message that says:
SIGNOFF azpa-l
or
UNSUBSCRIBE azpa-l
Example:
To: LISTSERV@LISTS.NAU.EDU
Subj:
UNSUBSCRIBE azpa-l
If you do choose to unsubscribe from this list, you can resubscribe at any time by sending email to: LISTSERV@LISTS.NAU.EDU with a single line of text in the body of the message that says:
SUBSCRIBE azpa-l Your_first_name Your_last_name

Instructions for MAILING to the azpa-l List.
Sending mail to the azpa-l list is similar to sending mail to anyone on the Internet. The address of the list is azpa-l@LISTS.NAU.EDU.
Example:
To: azpa-l@LISTS.NAU.EDU
Subj: Sample Posting (Question)
[Enter message using editor or mail input, send as normal mail]
You can also tell LISTSERV how you want it to confirm the receipt of messages you send to the list. If you do not trust the system, send a
"SET azpa-l REPRO" command to LISTSERV@LISTS.NAU.EDU and LISTSERV will send you a copy of your own messages, so that you can see that the message was distributed and did not get damaged on the way.
After a while you may find that this is getting annoying, especially if your mail program does not tell you that the message is from you when it informs you that new mail has arrived from azpa-l. If you send a
"SET BOGUSLIST ACK NOREPRO" command to LISTSERV@LISTS.NAU.EDU, LISTSERV will mail you a short acknowledgement instead, which will look different in your mailbox directory.
With most mail programs you will know immediately that this is an acknowledgement you can read later. Finally, you can turn off acknowledgements completely by sending the command,
"SET azpa-l NOACK NOREPRO" to LISTSERV@LISTS.NAU.EDU.
Following instructions from the list owner, your subscription options have
been set to "REPRO" rather than the usual LISTSERV defaults. For
more information about subscription options, send a "QUERY azpa-l"
command to LISTSERV@LISTS.NAU.EDU.
Please note that it is presently possible for other people to determine that you are signed up to the list through the use of the "REVIEW" command, which returns the e-mail address and name of all the subscribers. If you do not want your name to be visible, just issue a
"SET azpa-l CONCEAL" command.

"INFO REFCARD" command to LISTSERV@LISTS.NAU.EDU.
